I gave a talk on debbugs at debconf5 in Helsinki, on the 12th of July 2005.

TODO
- Pretty much done, needs to be committed and some more docs written up.
- Integrate into request@ and make it a bit simpler to use. The "user settings" API needs rewriting, otherwise should be fairly easy. Docs, and committing required too.
- Support for maintainer annotations to package pages, bug reports, etc (this is what my tags mean, this message is important/irrelevant/spam, etc)
- Adding a SOAP API that can be properly supported and replace LDAP
- Update the packaging to current CVS
- Improve support for forwarding bugs upstream (ideas: passing notifications back and forward, including status of upstream bug on web pages, control@ command that actually forwards the bug upstream rather than noting it as forwarded, etc)
- URL cleanup (ie, drop cgi-bin stuff from URLs)
- Replayable log format
- AJAX?
- Some way to integrate patches set to the BTS with real revision control
- pkgreport page that that looks more like a table than a report
- Valid HTML?
- Disintegrate the HTML from the code?
- Customisable display of bug lists?
- Cleaned up code?
